Although Byrdstown Pickett County is seemingly off the beaten path, we sit on Hwy 111, one of the major North-South State highways in the area. With the addition of the new bridge over Dale Hollow Lake and low to moderate traffic flow, several trucking lines have chosen it as a short cut to Interstate 40 which is 36 miles from Byrdstown.
UPS, Fed-Ex, and Averitt Express have distribution centers in Cookeville. Purolator, U.S. Postal Express Mail and other couriers serve Pickett County on a daily basis.
