Pickett County offers one of the lowest property tax rates in the State with a low ratio of assessment on real or personal property.

The State of Tennessee imposes no personal income tax upon its residents and no payroll or salary tax. Tennessee is consistently lower in individual and total tax bills.

The Town of Byrdstown and Pickett County Government work together with the business community as partners in economic development to give the Byrdstown-Pickett County area a competitive edge in our industrial development.

INCENTIVES

The Byrdstown-Pickett County Industrial Development Board is anxious to work with any potential business to make decisions in the best interest of all parties concerned. These decisions will be made on an individual basis.
